2017 and 2018 Mobility to Moscow
We have received Erasmus Mundus + funding to allow teaching staff, administration staff and master students to travel to Moscow State University and Moscow City University during 2018. We will also welcome staff and students from Moscow to the Faculty of Education.
The mobility programme is based on strengthening understanding around policy, quality and learning within early childhood education. There are possibilities however for other areas of interest such as sport and information technology. Staff and students travelling to Moscow will be able to strengthen their understanding about Vygotskian perspectives and theories, as well as learning about a new context and culture.
The staff visit will take place during May 2018, allowing staff to also attend the 7th International Research Conference Early Childhood Care and Education. The number of mobilities are:
1) 3 teaching staff for 10 days (including 2 days of travel so the total is 12 days)
2) 1 administration staff for 5 days (with 2 days of travel so the total is 7 days)
The student mobility will begin in 2018, allowing students to spend up to 3 months in Moscow.
